How it works · Corporate

How a job runs.

Six frames, from your first message to the download link: team headshots.

What do you need photographed?

“Headshots for eight people at our Tempe office, with matching backgrounds.”

  1. You tell us

One form, one question: what do you need photographed? Write it the way you’d say it out loud. A sentence is enough.

  2. We confirm in writing

Per headshot session: 1 hour, 10 edited images, delivered within 72 hours. The price for the whole set is quoted in writing before the shoot.

  3. We assign a local photographer

We assign a local photographer to the job. Whoever is assigned works to the same written standard, and SnappedCulture answers for the result.

  4. The shoot: moving the key light

Headshots are lit, not lucky. Move the key light until the shadow shapes the face, take the frame, then bring in the next person.

A key light about 45 degrees to one side gives a face its shape. Straight on, the face goes flat.

  5. Edited to the standard

Headshots are edited to the creative standard: color and exposure, skin smoothing, and a grade you agree to. It still looks like them.

  6. Delivered

Within 72 hours: 10 edited images per session.

Questions · Corporate

Before you ask.

Plain answers, the same ones you get in writing.

Can the whole team be photographed in one visit?

Yes. The photographer lights one spot at your office, and people step in one at a time, so the rest of the day keeps moving. Everyone is photographed on the same setup, so the faces on the company page match.

The written quote sets how many people, the edited headshots for each, and the delivery date before the day.

Can new headshots match the ones we already have?

Send a few of the current headshots with your request. The photographer matches the background, the light, and the framing as closely as your space allows, and the written quote says how.

When new people join, ask for the same setup again.

What does company event coverage include?

What you book: the keynote and the speakers, the room, the networking, the awards, the group photos, and the party after. The written quote sets the hours, the moments covered, the deliverables, and the delivery date before the day.

Need a few photos sooner, for a recap post or the press? Say so on the request, and the quote states what arrives when.

How much retouching is included?

Color and exposure correction are included on every job, and headshots and portraits also include skin smoothing.

Beyond that, retouching and color grading follow the creative standard: applied in a style and to an extent you agree to before the shoot. Object removal and other extras are quoted up front. Either way, the photograph stays a recognizable, fair likeness of the person or the product.

Will a workplace shoot get in the way of the work?

It shouldn’t. Workplace photographs are made on a normal working day, around your schedule: people at their desks, on the floor, in the lab, or on the line.

Tell us who would rather not be in frame, and they won’t be.

Does it matter where the photographs will be used?

Yes, so tell us: a careers page, a press kit, a product page, a menu, an annual report, or a campaign. The deliverables, the formats, and the crops in your written quote are built around where the photographs will run.

Can we send a list of must-have shots?

Please do. Add the moments and the people that matter to your request, and send the timeline before the day. The written quote lists what’s covered, so nothing on the list is left to memory.

How is a shoot quoted when it has no set price?

Per job. Before the shoot you get the deliverables, the delivery date, and the price in writing. Tell us where the photographs will be used, and the quote is built around that.

The promise

Every job is held to the same written standard, whoever is behind the camera.

If a job falls short of it, we re-shoot at no cost or refund the shoot fee, your choice, within 7 days of delivery.
